SHIPPING POLICY
1. General Information
At Maxpack, we aim to dispatch and deliver orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, order size, destination, and courier schedules.
All delivery estimates provided are approximate and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. Delivery Partners
We use the following delivery partners for shipments:
Ireland Deliveries
- Parcel Deliveries: GLS
- Pallet Deliveries / Large Freight: DSV
International Deliveries
- Parcel Deliveries: DHL
- Pallet Deliveries / Large Freight: DSV
Delivery methods are selected based on the size, weight, and destination of the order.
3. Processing Times
Orders are generally processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays.
Typical order processing time:
- Stocked items: [4-5 business days]
- Special order / non-stock items: Delivery times available upon request
Orders placed outside business hours will be processed on the next working day.
4. Delivery Time Estimates
Ireland
- GLS Parcel Deliveries: Typically 1–3 working days after dispatch
- DSV Pallet Deliveries: Typically 1–3 working days after dispatch
International
- DHL Parcel Deliveries: Delivery times vary by destination country
- DSV Pallet Deliveries: Delivery times vary depending on destination and customs clearance where applicable
Please note that remote locations, peak periods, adverse weather conditions, customs delays, or circumstances beyond our control may affect delivery times.
5. Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- delivery location;
- parcel or pallet size;
- shipment weight; and
- delivery method selected.
Shipping charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
For certain oversized, heavy, or specialist products, additional delivery charges may apply. Customers will be contacted prior to dispatch if this occurs.
6. International Orders & Customs
For orders delivered outside Ireland, local customs duties, taxes, import fees, or handling charges may apply depending on the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
Maxpack is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or import procedures.
7. Delivery Conditions
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- the delivery address provided is accurate and complete;
- someone is available to receive the goods where required;
- adequate access is available for pallet deliveries.
Failed delivery attempts or redelivery requests may result in additional charges.
Pallet deliveries are typically made to kerbside/ground floor locations only unless otherwise agreed.
8. Damaged or Missing Goods
Customers should inspect deliveries upon arrival.
Any shortages, damages, or delivery issues should be reported to us within:
- 24 hours for damaged goods;
- 48 hours for missing items.
Where possible, please provide photographs of damaged packaging or products to assist with claims.
9. Delivery Delays
While we work closely with our courier partners to ensure timely delivery, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control.
Maxpack shall not be liable for delivery delays caused by:
- courier disruptions;
- weather events;
- customs delays;
- industrial action;
- supply chain disruptions; or
- force majeure events.

Tracking information will be provided where available once orders have been dispatched.
